Maui Downhill – Haleakala Bike and Winery Tour
Maui Downhill has closed their doors.
This new Maui Biking tour combines the exciting Maui Downhill bike adventure with a stop at Ulupakakua Ranch. After coasting down Haleakala you will visit Tedeschi Vineyard, Maui’s only winery.
You will be fitted with bicycle helmets and windbreakers for your comfort and tour safety. Start the bicycle adventure near the top of Haleakala Ranch just outside of the National Park entrance at the 6500’ elevation level. Tour Guides will go over a comprehensive safety briefing including Hawaii’s bicycle safety regulations and tour guidelines before you begin your downhill bike journey.
Enjoy bi-coastal panoramas of Maui’s central valley and West Maui Mountains. Be sure to bring your camera. There will be several stops during Haleakala Bike Rides to capture the beautiful landscape on film. Haleakala safari guides will point out Maui highlights and unique features of the mountain.
The bicycle portion of your safari ends as you coast through eucalyptus forests and the upcountry community of Kula with its beautiful lavender farms and Jacaranda tree lined roadways.
The van tour takes you from above Pukalani and travels to Ulupalakua. Enjoy a no host lunch at Ulupalakua Ranch Grill. Walk around the grounds of the vineyard and enjoy free tasting of local wines.

Driving Out:
Check in at 7:30am.

Bike Rider Restrictions:
No pregnant women or those with medical conditions that would adversely effect them.
No beginner bike riders.
Minimum age of 12 years.
Minimum height of 5 ft with a minimum inseam of 24 inches.
Maximum weight of 250lbs.
Riders must sign acknowledgement of risk & safety form.
Van Rider Restrictions (no bike riding):
Pregnant women may partake in the tour as a Van Rider.
Van Riders under the age of 18 years must be accompanied by a Van Rider that is 18 years or older.
Minimum age to ride in the van is 7 years old.
