Haleakala Bike and Winery Tour

Maui Downhill – Haleakala Bike and Winery Tour

This new Maui Biking tour combines the exciting Maui Downhill bike adventure with a stop at Ulupakakua Ranch.  After coasting down Haleakala you will visit Tedeschi Vineyard, Maui’s only winery.

Enjoy a Continental breakfast and hot beverages at our office location. You will be fitted with bicycle helmets and windbreakers for your comfort and tour safety. The safari van takes you to the top of Haleakala Ranch just outside of the National Park entrance at the 6500’ elevation level.  Tour Guides will go over a comprehensive safety briefing including Hawaii’s bicycle safety regulations and tour guidelines before you begin your downhill bike journey.

Enjoy bi-coastal panoramas of Maui’s central valley and West Maui Mountains.  Be sure to bring your camera.  There will be several stops during Haleakala Bike Rides to capture the beautiful landscape on film. Haleakala safari guides will point out Maui highlights and unique features of the mountain.

The bicycle portion of your safari ends as you coast through eucalyptus forests and the upcountry community of Kula with its beautiful lavender farms and Jacaranda tree lined roadways.

The van tour takes you from above Pukalani and travels to Ulupalakua.  We will make a photo stop along the way.  At Ulupalakua ranch enjoy a no host picnic lunch.  Walk around the grounds of the vineyard and enjoy free tasting of local wines.
