Your day begins as a you meet at the base office at Kahului. You will be picked up and taken to the 10,023’ summit of Haleakala and through Haleakala National Park.  Your informative tour guide will provide you with the history and legends of Haleakala.  Tour the House of the Sun Visitor Center at the crater’s rim.

Maui Mountain Bike Tours begin at the top of Haleakala Ranch outside Haleakala National Park (6500’).  Haleakala Bike Rides have 21 exciting switchbacks on the western slopes of the world’s largest dormant volcano.

There will be several stops during Haleakala Bike Rides for photo opportunities of the beautiful landscape.Enjoy bi-coastal panoramas of Maui’s central valley and West Maui Mountains. 

There will be a stop at Sunrise Market and Flower Farm for a no host lunch.  After lunch the Maui Downhill bike safari continues with highlights of Kula, Upcountry, grazing cattle and the beautiful Maui landscapes.

At the end of the Maui Downhill adventure, you will receive a safari van tour from Pukalani to the sea.  On this portion of the tour you will learn about the pineapple plantation days and the history of Maui’s sugar cane.
