The Maui Haleakala First Light Summit Van and Bike Tour includes a spectacular sunrise and a Bike Down a Volcano adventure. Experience a breathtaking sunrise then coast through the green switchbacks of the western slopes filled with bi-coastal views of the Central Valley.
Meet at the base office location in Kahului. Then the Safari van journeys across Maui’s central valley and ascends Haleakala. We enter Haleakala National Park and advance to the summit. View the breathtaking 3000 foot deep crater floor. You will tour the House of the Sun Visitor Center.
Haleakala Bike Rides gently descend the western slopes of Haleakala volcano. Haleakala safari guides will point out Maui highlights and unique features of the mountain. There are stops in the switchbacks for rest, rider evaluation, and photo opportunities.
There will be a stop at Sunrise Market and Flower Farm for a no host lunch.
At the end of the Maui Downhill adventure, you will receive a safari van tour from Pukalani to the sea. On this portion of the tour you will learn about pineapple plantation days and the history of Maui’s sugar cane.
This Haleakala Bike Ride tour includes Continental breakfast of muffins and hot beverages and a tour of Haleakala National Park.
